I’ve never had Brussels sprouts I’m just assuming I don’t like them

How can they be good if they stink so bad :lol

I love the smell of “charred” brussel sprouts.

I didn’t get quite the desired effect on those but they were good and it was my first shot and I kind of prepped them on the fly as Christmas dinner was unraveling around me with my wife and her mom going to war

whats the best way to cook a prime rib wanting it medium-medium rare? i have a 5lb one for my family this weekend, just looking for some ideas

edit: would have helped if I added how I usually do it.

bring the PR to room temp, preheat oven to 450, apply rub to PR, cook for 15mins at 450 then reduce temp to 325 and cook for 15mins per pound. cook until internal temp is 110, remove from oven and over with foil for 20mins to get medium rare.

Only reason why im asking is because the last time I made one it didnt turn out the way I would have liked and since then I wanted to try something new.
.

Not sure if you’re mainly asking for how to cook them in an oven but I think the best way to cook a prime rib is in a smoker. But that’s also true for a lot of different cuts of meat.

I just smoked 2 bone in prime ribs for Christmas. They were ~5lbs each, smoked at 200-225 for 3.5hrs, then at 325 for 25 mins. Pulled off at ~125 internal temp and let rest for 20mins. Perfect med on the smaller one and med rare on the other.

Got a gift card for Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ for Christmas, so I decided to try some burnt ends yesterday. I always ask for BBQ sauce on the side

Had Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles today. Their chicken is overrated but the waffles are fire. I ordered the Jeanne Jones combo which is an omelette stuffed with fried chicken pieces and cheese. Got two waffles and the decided to try the chili for $1.75 extra. Chili was whatever. Probably won't order it again but this is my favorite omelette to get anywhere

^^^ I’ve only been to Roscoe’s once and felt the same way. Chicken was just eh, but the gravy and waffles were legit. Believe what I had was called the “Scoe’s Number 2”.

Experience @ Roscoe's went well. Forgot which location I went to, Broadway or something in Long Beach

I got 3 Wings (Fried HARD) and a Waffle.

It was so good, I got a second order and finished it right there.

Oh yea, I got the waffle SLIGHTLY crispy too.

They will get my money again
