FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Altered the recipe slightly. Shredded my own cheese this time. Added tomato paste to the sauce which gave it a thicker consistency and slight sweetness. Mistakenly added sugar to the dough which is why it's a little browner. Also didn't brush the crust part with oil or anything because that made it hard to bite into. Gonna make it once more before I stick with the recipe

Needs moar char.

Around the edges burnt is too much

Here is an example.

Middle chewy still

Remember when you refused to go Prince St last month?

Does anyone else cut chicken legs like this

I got this from my mother.
It seems much more tastier if it's a dish with a sauce.

I see what you mean SC kid SC kid

Chicken with sauces, slit it open.

I prefer skinless chicken if the skin can't be crisped up.

So any stewed chicken or chicken with sauce, Boneless thighs

how so???
White Fish vs. Red Fish

Salmon is fattier.

Whie fish tend to be "lighter."

Halibut can be fried, we don't usually do that to salmon outside to salmon cakes ( mushed salmon).

The offer two completely different profiles.

The same way you wouldn't compare a banana to a watermelon or beef/chicken.

Tabasco
Sirracha

Shouldn't be compared to the cayenne pepper sauces.

Completely different.

It is #Cultural to even put them in the same grouping

Does it really?

I couldn't imagine eating boiled eggs and oatmeal at 1 PM and being more satisfied had I eaten it at 8 AM.
Tapatio and I'm pretty sure chalula aren't cayenne
