If you like pulled pork, try Backyard BBQ in Durham. Best pulled pork I ever had. Moist and got a spicy/vinegary kick to it. Their collards are good too.

Stopped by my parents house this morning to pick up my daughter who spent the night. Impeccable timing on my part as I rolled in when they were having breakfast. Croissant loaf French toast, choc chip coffee cake, and a sausage/potato frittata.

Tried the new Jamaican "jerk" turkey sub from firehouse
They describe it as having "a hint of Jamaican jerk seasoning"
And they are liars.
It's not even close to a hint. It's like if you're spouse came home from work and said "guess what"?
It's a good turkey sandwich by itself.
They do not skimp on the meat.
Cheese was nice and melted.
Veg was fresh and crisp.
Solid sub.
Its tasty but I would be fine if I never ate this again in my life.
For the life of me, I can't remember how it tasted, but I'm like 99% sure that Boars Head has a jerk turkey cut. Probably unremarkable as I know i've had it once, but never had the urge to buy it again. Better off just buying your own turkey cutlet, seasoning them how you like, and then slicing on your own after it's cooked.

It was really good...killed my workout this AM, but the calories were worth it

It depends. Sometimes that wait is only 5 minutes. Every now and then you get that one first time guy, holding the line up, scratching his head like, 'Yall aint got no regular tacos? No regular cheese? Can you put sour cream on it??", that'll hold the line up. Its only about 5 minute from the job, the wait doesn't bother me.

My favorites are the Who Dat Shrimp/Chicken and Blackened Fish Po Boy. But you can't go wrong with anything they have.
