haha thanks for the encouragement guys. Once I get back to Boston I'll hit up yelp and see if there's any good spots around. Pics will be posted obviously.
never had pho or ramen :\ never thought I was missing out until I saw this thread. My parents aren't adventurous at all (mainly american and italian food) and I don't have many asian friends, so I haven't had much exposure.

I'm Asian and I haven't tried Asian staples pho, ramen, and bubble tea until recently (the last year and a half). All damn good, especially bubble tea. Still wouldn't know what to order in the store.
Was more bummed out that I tipped 15% when our waiter forgot our to go leftovers.. It's not like it was a to go cup or anything...Have y'all ever ordered 2 dishes but only age one and asked for the other to go but never got it and forgot on the way out? Then regret tipping 15%. @Summer92
I've seen this happen many times..
Where u located?
Got customers calling back crying we stole an entrée..
Thanks, GTB. Real celebration is next week, but I really felt the NT love.don't let these guys gas you up Champ. they look the same to me

I've worked in the service industry many years back and can appreciate the lack of gratitude the job sometimes presents. My foundation is 15%, but tend to tip higher in the 18% to 20% range. 25% if the server is phenomenal or I'm a regular at the restaurant.Tipping is an interesting subject. As someone who waited tables for 10 years, I would be very disappointed with receiving a 15% tip, especially when I know that I delivered exemplary service. When I go out to eat, unless the server majorly screwed something up, they are getting at least 20% every time.

Thanks, Hsalem. Appreciate the camera phone help. Best of luck with the school process.Happy belated, Champ.
As for tipping, I usually go between 15-20%. Wasn't aware 15% was such an insult
Of course. You got it, man. Melt in Cleveland top of the list. Other spots in Michigan. Brewing companies, etc.
looking forward to the bday pics
