Been meaning to throw down in here. I am a food lover. But I'm also always trying to stay lean. So it's a struggle.
I eat out a lot. When I cook for self, it's usually "diet" food. Lean fish, brown rice. Veggies. VERY bare bones.
So here's the fun stuff.....
A must anytime I'm in LA. Wish I had pictures from Roscoe's as well
The Waffle Sundae from Cafeteria in NY for co workers going away dinner
Pics from Italy this summer. I should have taken way more of what we ate.
Thinly sliced grilled octopus with a glass of Prosecco
Then lunch. This was in Siena.
Awesome sundried totatoes. Also had a pasta bolognese made with wild boar after this. This was Montalcino.
We bought this stuff from what was basically a deli in San Gusme and did it up ourselves at the hotel.
When we were in Florence, ate at a place called 4 Leoni. Had one of the most amazing dishes I've ever eaten. Pear Fiocchetti with asparagus and taleggio. Which is a pasta stuffed with cheese and pear. Ridiculous. You can see the raves it gets here...

Found something similar in Brooklyn at a place called Graziella's. Pasta isn't as good as Florence but still great and the candied walnuts compliment it REALLY well.
4 Cheese & Pear Fiocchi pasta purse filled w/ 4 cheeses & crisp pieces of fresh pear, made in a gorgonzola sauce topped w/ candied walnuts
