FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Any recommendations for a pressure cooker that is on par with a dedicated rice cooker?

Not trying to have multiple appliances. It’ll mostly be for rice but do want to experiment with stews and slow roasts.

You guys effing with me right?

A bagel without a hole is like rice soup without a bowl.
Beautiful poetry, but we're not joking. Bagels don't NECESSARILY have to have a hole. For instance:

yeah that's not a bagel

unless this is another inside joke...ill just be over here

On the real though, bagels are suppose to have holes but you can make them in a way purposely or by accident where they don't.

I came across a raisin bagel like that a week ago. Baker attempted to make the hole but too much something cuz when it expanded the hole closed up.

Doesn't a bagel require a hole?

Looks good
I would say the same but some ppl call bagels buttered rolls so...
Bodega? Folks don't realize how on point this is for some reason.
Yes.

From my local spot. I said to myself after I took the pic and already eating half Damn habibi stay making these joints to perfection.

I know y’all are trolling but bagels are supposed to have holes in them

What Exactly Is a Bagel? From a purist and traditional standpoint, a bagel is a round yeast roll with a hole in the middle. The shape is important — the name translates to "bracelet" in German. There's no egg in the dough, and malt is used in place of sugar.
