A couple of years ago I had a pretty bad cold on Thanksgiving, so I stayed home by myself, while my wife and son when to eat with family. No going to lie: it was pretty delightful. Made vegetarian versions of stuffing and gravy that turned out pretty good and just relaxed.

But I don’t get a lot of time to myself normally, so maybe that’s why I enjoyed the occasion so much.
