FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

That whole smoked BBQ style in Texas is a bit overhyped and crazy overpriced. Experience my ***.

KK over DD but there's barely any KK around my way. I'll take Entenmann's pop'ems over both.

Its only natural to use a spoon where rice is the base of the dish.

B Sox B Sox Since you mentioned the lobster roll earlier today in the Navy Japan 1 thread, it made me crave a clobster grilled cheese from Slapfish. OMG, that joint was beast made too, but I broke my rule about only going there like 60-90 minutes before they close because they put extra lobster in it and it is a beautiful thing to see! LOL I was hungry though, so I grabbed it early and now I am sleepy because between that and the fries, I am stuffed.

I’m thinking shake shack tonight. In the mood for a burger and fries

Two burgers
1 Fry

Only way to get satisfied from that place.

Told yall......

Baby food!

Never had shake shack
Y’all talking about a single patty or double?
Because if it takes 2 double burgers wouldn’t that end up being over $20 with fries?

Since we were talking donuts ... would you try?

yeah i would. you can tell that doughnut isn't covered in sugar and really just fried dough like the chinese spots,

theres a restaurant in austin called gourdoughs that does all of this. its delicious.
they take huge doughnuts and cover them with savory foods but the doughnut isn't exactly sweet. the dough itself has a little sweetness but they don't glaze or put sugar all over it. but they also have the sweet doughnuts too

heres a good example. you can tell the dough isn't sweet. really just fried dough

Look like a collabo with Sublime Doughnuts. They’re the best donut place in Atlanta - 24/7, too.

Finished product with cheese. Funny thing is, I made 24 and forgot to put cheese in all of them except one. The one with cheese was the best one too

Flew out of Toronto, they had a tiny Tim Hortons near the gate: Bad coffee and worse donuts.

When I was a kid we used to go to my relatives place in Toronto during summers. We'd always stop in at a Tim Hortons along that drive from the border to Toronto. I used to get their cream of broccoli soup and ham with ranch sandwich and a donut and I'd always dip the sandwich into the soup. I remember it always tasting good to me.

Had this discussion with shorty about which utensil to use for eating rice.

Shes Caribbean, she said fork.

I laughed at her and said its spoon, actually spoon AND fork for ultimate efficiency.

She said im a glutton.
If you’re using a plate then spoon and fork

but using a spoon with a bowl for true #eattoeat

Some people think eating rice with a fork makes them classier
