Wasn’t even that difficult.

Hate when people can’t put their cart back. Especially when they leave it 5 feet away from where it belongs. Lazy ****s.

Yeah maybe it’s everyone but I’ve def noticed more and more of it.

my boy moved the other day and I walk in and it smells like a bonfire.

I give my boy the0] look and he gives me:rolleyes as we proceed to watch his girl burn sandal wood and twirl burning sage around all the windows.

Hmmm, has he tapped into that world with her at all?

Does he complain about her at all?

not really, he doesn’t care he just laughs.

I mean he’s a “dead head” but that’s more just him blazing in the garage, smoking meat working on his motorcycle and enjoying the tasteful palate of the Grateful Dead. He’s a hippy for sure. He just doesn’t care about spirits.

he’s neither for or against it.

Yeah, I lived on Sawyer and Ainslie for my entire childhood and Great Seas chicken was a staple. The OG owners sold the restaurant but the new owners didn’t want to pay for the recipe, so they came up with their own. That’s when everything went downhill.
The OG owners did sell the recipe to the owner of Lollipop chicken wings in Mt Prospect and I can confirm that they’re closest to the OG great seas wings.

Thanks for the info
I'm gonna have to hit up the Mt Prospect spot for sure
Didn't the original owners kids open up their own chickens spot in the city in Bronzeville?
I saw it on TV awhile back looked like the same wings
Can't remember the name of the restaurant

I wanna try Landbirds over by Logan Square. They have Lollipop wings too. Ever been?

Never had landbirds but it looks good
Had crisp before and their fried chicken is pretty solid
Really sucks that great seas is gone
They had the best lollipop wings hands down
They always gave you a decent amount of sauce and i loved to mix it with rice
There’s a Korean/Chinese restaurant a few blocks down called Peking mandarin
I wonder if it’s still the same owners
They have some solid JJamppong and jajangmyeon
Haven’t been there in years
Not food related but used to hit up rave sports for my sneakers
Had some good times on Lawrence ave

Thoughts on that process/broth?

I like her idea of pulling the meat off the bones.

Thread

Yeah that's a perfect ragu, being it's served over pasta pulling the meat from the bone is normal like any other tender beef you would use like short rib . Did it once and it was excellent and everyone loved it (we still used them bones of course), but short rib gives you more meat.
