Pretty sure thin and crispy as opposed to the staple deep dish in Chicago. What makes a pizza a " tavern style pizza " ?
Thin & crispy. Cut in squares. It's "bar pizza." Was originally cut in squares at Vito & Nick's Pizza in the 40's to be able to serve a lot of ppl at their bar. Vito & Nicks still considered to be the best Tavern Style in Chicago. What makes a pizza a " tavern style pizza " ?
