FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

I hate how some items at Costco disappear and never come back
Costco used to have these killer ice cream cookie sandwiches that I love
Haven’t seen them in years |l
happens to me all the time
so many things I've bought once, only to never see that item again
yeah worst thing about costco.
and it's never an easy trip in to costco. so many people...only worth it when you buy in larger quantities so when you do go and they don't sell what you actually want it's very disappointing.
main reason i stopped going.

I stopped buying rotisserie chicken at costco
It just doesn’t taste good anymore
I don’t know what Costco is doing at their chicken farms but these birds ain’t right
It says seasoned chicken on the label
But I just ain’t tasting any
If I have to add salt on the chicken you F’ed up

They also had these bagel cracker things with oil, herbs, and garlic. So good but probably for the best. Used to crush those things lol

I was about to say, didn’t “he” say it was a different type of meat.

man... those things are loaded with salt
pretty much the only thing they add

I stopped buying them also. they're ok fresh
but if you don't eat that whole thing it's terrible left over

I always wonder who the hell buys the leftover rotisserie chicken meat they vacuum wrap
I don’t care how cheap it is

it's cooked, allegedly

"Giving the original a run for its money is this even-more-convenient pre-shredded version. No bones, no skin, no carving required—just 2.62 lbs of perfectly cooked pulled chicken ready to be added to any dinner you can imagine."

I'm good on that

So if you think about it there's a ton of meat there
So odds are some of that chicken is really old
They just vacuum wrap it and add a few more days on the sell/expire date
Like who's buying that 5lb container of chicken salad made from leftover chicken
Oh look they got fully cooked buffalo wings you can heat up at home(leftover wings from chicken)

Yea those Costco chickens never have enough sunlight for me. They get quartered and placed in the toaster oven when I get home to crisp up.

Not sure how they do it, but it sounds like it has a pretty long shelf life
