Texture on the mashed potatoes looks perfect.

More of a thick/chunky type myself. (I know you didn't ask)
 
Are the cheesesteaks good at jersey mikes?
Only had mike's once and I think I got a club sub and it was ok

My biggest issue with JM's is their bread.

Their bread is too "big" and too damn flakey.

Bread shouldn't be competing with the protein for mic-time and their bread is IN the WAY.
