First off, that’s not even jerk - that’s season and jerk grease.

Second, I agree with rooster rooster - besides their a blackened option for all that.

Steak tacos tonight. Been marinating skirt steaks in a blend of pineapple juice, lime juice, soy sauce, pickled jalapeno brine, honey, garlic, cilantro, red pepper flakes, cayenne, cumin, onion powder, black pepper, and Adobo for a little over 24 hours now. Letting everything come up to temperature before I throw these on the grill pan. Got some pickled red onion, pico, and guac to top them off.

Results to follow.

It’s like when Popeyes came out with that honey hot chicken
It wasn’t bad
But it just makes the skin soggy
Best thing about Popeyes is that crispy skin baby!

Man Most of these dudes don't understand the art of crispiness. They are content with eating soggy skin and wasting calories.

Don't even waste your keystrokes Big Roost!

And a Cuban sandwich is not a real thing in Cuba. Started in Little Havana, Miami. Cuban Americans.

When I went to Cuba, they were like that’s an American sandwich- we just started selling them because they keep asking for them.

Eh. They're Trumpanzees but her stepdad is an Italian construction dude that has a good Cali connect, so he always gives us free edibles. They're pretty well-off and have loosely talked about us taking some ownership over his business when he gets ready to retire.

I just try to not look a gifthorse in the mouth and keep the conversation to pleasantries.

Never actually had a Cuban sandwich, but they look awesome.

Also don't have Picadillo Alvarez where I'm going, but that looks up my alley too. Here's what I'm working with:

Might just get the skirt steak whether it's the mofongo or the churrasco. Pernil and short ribs don't sound bad either.
