Thinking about making a trip up to Queens for the US Open on Wednesday. Have gone a couple times in the past and have focused on grabbing pizza. Went to DiFara, New Park, and Spumoni Gardens...
What's another solid place I could go in Brooklyn or Queens for lunch on my way? Doesn't have to be pizza, but I'm not opposed. Not trying to spend more than like an hour or so there and would need to be relatively easy to park. What recs y'all got?

Speaking of gas stations, reminds me of this dude. He ever came up in here? Found his channel randomly and watched all these.
Really no other feeling than a cross state drive and hitting gas stations along the way in the middle of the night. Theres some magic to that. Always admired truck drivers for this.

Went hiking in Meteora (Games of Throne castles were filmed here) - visited six of the monasteries (amazing).
Grab Fried Cheese and chicken souvlaki. Chicken was extra fresh!
Got back and went into the Black side of town and grab fried chicken.

They have two “type” - crispy and fried. Looked completely the same - now I’m sure they taste different.
Got a whole dinner $7.
It’s fried similar to KFC but very seasonal.

I ran out of protein for breakfast, so I had to get creative with the toppings for my grits. I made a sweet and spicy plum sauce that ended up being really good.

I had dinner at Red Robin in Northridge Fashion Center yesterday since it was the last day for 25% off a burger.
It was my first time trying the Mad Love burger yesterday. It was good despite it having a dry taste to it predicated on the way it was prepared and the ingredients used. I'm glad I substituted the nasty a%$ Swiss cheese with provolone cheese. And I'm glad I requested not to have the jalapeno/relish mixture sauce put on it because relish on burgers is awkward for me.
