took this before I let them sit in the fridge overnight last night. About 2.25” nt thick. Today is gonna be my 2nd time doing ribeyes on the blackstone. Trying to get the best possible steak without having to use any other method of cooking. Just flipping on the blackstone. Last time I tried a 30 second flip method that really cooked them perfectly through the center but didn’t quite have the crust I desired. Gonna try a 2 min sear each side then the constant flip method probably on a lower heat.

Looks great. Still haven't done actual steaks on my Blackstone. Will have to do it soon.

New house has electric cooktop and I haven't tried using cast iron on that either. Feel like it will be different from gas range at my last house.
Yeah it’s just gonna take longer for your cast iron to really get hot. Gas is superior but you can still get a good sear.
