FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

I never knew that they made a small dish now. We use to always just get the combo tho.

And yea the bbq, white, and hot sauces were the 3 standards.

Cooking a turkey is easy as hell if you're gonna be home all day.

Anybody got recs for my guy other than Pop Eyes though?
Got a friend that has been tricking her family for the last 6 years with that damn Popeyes Turkey.

She buys it, and "brings it" to her parents house and according to her nobody has caught on.

She just pulled the same move @ her "Friends-giving" dinner last Saturday.

TO ME, the Turkey doesn't even look that good but she says folks always ask for the recipe.

The Eggs and the Trees are the ones I DON’T like. The chocolate to PB ratio be all off.

The eggs and trees are on point because they have a higher pb/chocolate ratio than the normal cups.

That's also why I mess with the BIG Cups.

For some reason, I only go crazy for Reese's during the holiday season lol

The carts in NYC seemed to always have bbq sauce. Been to one of their restaurant locations but don't remember if I added it there. I hit up a Shah's Halal spot and they have a green sauce I always add. Stopped getting combo platters because the chicken is so plain and just get lamb now.

Is pomegranate turkey just a pile of pomegranates shaped into a turkey or a turkey with some kind of pomegranate glaze? Anyway, I hate thanksgiving turkey because it's usually dry and flavorless. Some thanksgivings I don't eat a single piece of turkey.

tbf if there was a most delicious animal to eat list, turkey would be near the bottom.
Yeah I mean it's not particularly high up there on meats I like most. Even if I'm eating sandwiches I'm pretty much always going with Italian cold cuts. But when people say it's dry or flavorless, it just tells me that there's some user error.

This is kind of a wild statement considering that, world wide, there a dozens (maybe more) of animal species people eat. Maybe you’re right, but if you haven’t eaten ostrich, bat, Guinea pig, etc., how do you really know?
you really said ostrich and guinea pig

ok exclude exotic meats we don't eat normally or meats you won't find in your grocery store.
it's near the bottom for me.

These are legit. If you come across them give em a try.
