FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

For sure. You can throw anything in a dumpling and it'll hit.
I hate when they ruin a good dumpling with some crunchy *** overpowering cabbage though.

Also miss the big thick *** NYC dumplings, can't stand the little thin joints.

I’m so salty right now. I made a couple burritos yesterday and mine had everything in it. The one I packed for lunch only had rice and meat 😩😂

Sausage - Brought the pot of water that submerged the sausage to a simmer then turned off the heat and let it cook for 15 mins. I finished them off in the broiler.

Forgot the name of this place but the outside is finished off with cheese on the grill. Pretty tasty.

The rice makes it sloppy. I got rice. Pinto beans, carnitas. Salsa green salsa sour cream and cheese and the burrito was just really big and wack

Interesting.

For the most part rice is "dry."

I often see folks burritos "break" when they add so many items.

Another reason to keep it simple and not go od with how many things we put in there. (Not saying you do).

I'm not sure I would blame that on the torTILLA per-se as opposed to what/how much is going inTO the burrito.

From what you said, I would think any excess juice from the beans as well as the sour cream is what makes it sloppy. (The visual display of a "mess.")

I don't think rice is responsible for THAT.

If you think it IS, that would be another reason to tell them not to put AS much in there.

Point is, we control how "sloppy/neat" our burritos are.

The sour cream and beans.. well I couldn't taste the sour cream. I threw the burrito away. I normally get a bowl so I'm new to the other stuff at Chipotle.. I like tacos I might try them next because taco bell grubhub is a ripoff I think.
