FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Mashed potatoes are cheap and easy to make for the most part.

My wife has no issue making them the issue is that she makes them and we have them for the whole week. That poses an issue for my weight loss

#LowIQ Take

I Was Seasoning Some Chicken This Morning Thinking Damn I Should Have Gloves Here So I Could Avoid Getting My Hands Dirty And Keeping Washing Them.

She Def Dusty For This Tho Prolly Dont Wipe Her Counter Tops

If I'm making curry, I'm definitely wearing gloves to season the chicken/goat. If I do jerk, it depends on my mood. If I feel like getting the marinade into every nook and cranny then I have to put gloves on to massage it into the chicken. It really depends on the meat and the seasoning being used. Steaks and pork chops are flat and don't need to be massaged like chicken, goat, or beef cubes. If i'm using seasoning that's strong, or stains, then gloves are a must. Curry finger nails aren't a good look

Try my best to make them for just one meal. Never had good luck reheating mashed potatoes.

Its like I need to put hot sauce on Halal Guys for it to have any flavor. The random halal carts you see on any given street is jam packed with spices and their chicken has lots of flavor. Never had those, people rave about King of Falafel in Astoria but I think its whack. I always just get a chicken platter and everytime I had it it was just soggy, cant remember if it was the chicken or rice that made is soggy. I do admit their falafel is the best falafel ive ever had.

Halal Guys fell off HARD. Back in 2011-2015 that was my go-to spot.

Adel's on 50th and 6th took it's spot for my current #1 in the city.

IF ONLY THEY HAD ANOTHER OPTION FOR WHEN THIS HAPPENS

LIKE IDK

A POLISH SAUSAGE

I eat a gluten free diet - the hot dogs are fine (without the bun) but the Polish sausage has wheat in them (like a lot of sausages here for some reason).
