I would actually rescind some of my comments, Texas Toast and home-made Naan is actually pretty good. Also, Cinnamon Raisin toast with butter and Sourdough sliced bread with jam and butter. I was short-sided and making foolhardy statements.

I was thinking about them recently and was going to do my periodic check-in with you to see if they are still in business.
But I had to control myself because their naan bread was fresh and plentiful. But I wasn't there to get full off role players. ( # )

I like Afghani naan too. They are a bit thicker & rectangular shaped as opposed to the traditional Indian style naan bread. Also, Persian Taftan is underrated.

Yeah. Kinda reminds me of pastelitos they do on the streets in dr and the heightz with out any filling. Just the fried dough.Hmm puri then?. I def support puri, it is a great Indian bread.

Whenever you are in the heightz, bronx or certain parts of queens look for pastelitos/empanada made from yuca masa. Much better than their dough versions.

Crossaints are number 1 bread for me. I usually dont consider it a pastry unless its filled with something.
