Dishoon. London’s most popular Indian restaurant.

Got the Indian style, English breakfast. Good way to start the day.

That English style sausage is so good. Ive been wondering where I can get it in the states. :nerd:

I like beans, frijoles charros is a goat side to me.

Don’t sleep if you get to a Norteño spot, probably my favorite region of Mexican food.

Beans are a good side or addition to certain dishes.. but dukes over there puttin beans on toast for breakfast.

Beans and sausage for breakfast as well.

The Ninth, London. Earned its 1 Michelin last year but sadly they had a really bad fire and was closed for most of 2022.

They just opened back up last week so I had to try it. The salted beef 🥩 cheek & tongue on sourdough was ******* delicious. The pain perdu is also their signature desert and was one of the best desserts I’ve had here so far.

I don't find the bean thing as puzzling as the love they have in some areas of the world for bitter, yeast based spreads like Vegemite and Marmite. Having tasted it once, it seems incompatible with basic human biology for anyone to actually like that stuff.

Went to my favorite Pakistani restaurant today for some beef kebab rolls. Kebab King is the name & it's in Jackson Heights, Queens, NYC. Also went to another spot down the block called Al-Naimat where my brother & his wife got their food. Al-Naimat has an amazing mithai selection.
