It’s something that I make at home so often. Would rather get something I don’t usually make myself, or something complex where I’d like to see how a “professional” does it.B Sox , why wouldn't you order the salmon while out?
Salmon is also usually more expensive than EYE feel like it should be at restaurants.

Yea, I rarely get chicken at a restuarant.
Like a roasted chicken wouldn't be something I would waste an experience on.
If I want that, I would go to Sardi's or some other Peruvian spot.

Caveat on what a restaurant is known for
Normally feel that way about steaks and pasta dishes. Also crab cakes and risotto. More so to do with the the frequency I make/eat something
Chicken and salmon are a pass too but because they're underwhelming vs most options
