FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Wife made a nice meal tonight. Stopped by the Asian supermarket and picked up a few things. Basic ramen, scallops, vegetable dumplings, steamed broccoli, and fried fish. The boil included, shrimp, corn, potatoes and mussels. She has a tendency to cook big meals when she’s upset so now I gotta find out what’s wrong.

What kind of ramen y’all use? Instant? What brand y’all use? Or was it from Scratch?

Sweet Jesus though lol. Looks good I could go for one of those since it’ll be hella hot this week

There's 2 dudes in the thread about nothing who cut their burgers in half b4 eating.

What do yall think of that

Open table question?

Do y'all like to have your burgers cut in half before eating it, or do you perfer the traditional 1-2 handed operation.

My M-answer:

Your not suppose to cut a burger. The cook who is preparing my burger cuts it, I'm throwing hands. Hell no.

You can cut a sandwich,
but expensive burger ground beef nah son. We got problems for sho.

I can maybe understand if people are doing it for pictures for the gram, but i personally don't ever cut a burger.

And nah, a cook has gotta be high as hell to cut a burger in half before serving them. Never seen that before in my life.

Part of the joy that is burger is being vulgar while eating, not too often do people turn a blind eye to savagery. Maybe they cut it because religion

This has happened to me occasionally in ihob(p) and fancy restaurants. I tell the waiter don't cut "MY BURGER" it's sin if the burger comes cut.

I seen a guy in Malaysia order a burger, take the buns off and eat the patty and toppings with a knife and fork. He then ate the top and bottom buns with knife and fork.

I was perplexed yet intrigued. I wanted to ask him "hey, why are you doing this?" But I didn't want to disturb him during his meal.

If I’m sharing I’ll cut it in half. That’s about only time I cut my burgers. I enjoy my sandwhichs cut all the time.

He was probably an Engineer. I've seen engineers and technical cats eat like this.

My homie can eat a t-bone steak without picking up the t-bone and leave it bone dry with no meat no on the bone. Guess his profession?
