FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

didn't know about the cooking process, im too old to have even noticed that. just glad aside from that they didn't make any changes to the fry itself like everyone else has.

hell I used I love Wendys and their fries and that entire establishment went to complete ****.

Went to South St burger since I was tight on time. Their food was good for a fast food spot.

Chicken nacho sandwich with guacamole, cheddar, lettuce, goat cheese, pico and jalapeño ranch. Local beer was pretty good too.

Gotta admit when I'm starving or need something quick I'll hit up one of the ****** fast food spots and it pisses me off when I see the total come out to more than what I pay at Innout :lol

****

that pizza looks good
Words cant describe how delicious it was, pepperonis were spicy and the cheese was fresh.
Red Rock is very good.

That location is a club at night too.

I would suggest Matchbox and Ellas.

Both downtown
:rofl:believe it or not I've only been their at night. Saw some random article about their pizza being famous so I decided to try it out before it got late. I got a friend who lives on H street so we frequent H street on the regular (Atlas Arcade:nthat:). They also do day parties now, it was pretty live when I was their eating too. Thats about to be my everyday spot

Yeah mcdonalds fries are trash too. And they no longer cook them in beef fat.
Not the McD's by me.

I legit saw them bring in the beef fat for the oil when they fried up a new batch. Could smell it in the air :hat

Indian buffet today. Called Favorite Indian Buffet in Union City, CA, there are two other locations. Lunch was $11 that's a good deal for AYCE.

Top left going clockwise: Goat curry (excellent, no gamey taste to the point you'd think it's beef if it wasn't labeled what it was), fried fish pakora (also excellent), you get a basket of garlic naan brought to your table, veg rice/and basmati, and butter chicken. There were more items but I forgot to take a pic of the first plate that had it.

Mango soft serve, got a cone to go too. You'd be set with goat curry, fried fish and ice cream.

Where can I buy?

My mom got them from one of her friends who went to Singapore. I think you can get them online from their site or Amazon.

Warning, they're ******* expensive though, like $15 a bag . They don't make them here. They're imported from Singapore, so ...

But god they are so good. Definitely not something I'd get often, but maybe once in a while.

There's two main brands - The Golden Duck and Irvin's.
