Do you use fish sauce ?
I am ignorant about the usage of it.

I have never bought fish sauce before. I would need an intro on when to use it.

What are some NON-Thai foods it goes well with because I only associate it with Thai Cuisine.

Soups, curry, brush it on a tortilla before toasting, chili, marinades , chicken , burgers etc
Almost anything.
It's like liquid seasoning. But only use a little because it's strong.

Would be perfect for those stir fry dishes you make

Thanks.

Any particular brand?

The last time I went to an Asian market, I was looking at them and there were SO many.

3 crabs the goat

you'll get a lot of different opinions tho cause fish sauce is very much a cultural preference as well.

Looks very good but folks around here consider food that looks like that as BURNT.

Thank you

I can see how people can come to that conclusion but I prefer my food charred a bit every once in a while.

I only seared the outside to get some color and texture. Everything was finished in the oven. Trying to eat a bit healthier to start the year.
