FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Yeah I always use a knife to get the pit out.

Cut in half, twist open, tap the pit with the length of the blade, twist, remove. Boom.

Yall risking it with that blade.

Cut in half, twist, open, bite the pit and pull out and release in the trash.

I have no issue with fried bologna sandwiches, just could do without the egg.

I still think about this (non-fried) bologna sandwich:
Eating a light dinner tonight so I'm front-loading with a stoner sandwich. Bologna, cole slaw, caramelized onions, and big mac sauce on a Martin's potato roll:

Taylor ham is OKAY.

One of the lesser breakfast meats, but still can be enjoyed to some degree.

Pork roll, egg, and cheese on a toasted Martin's potato roll is a solid combo.

For some reason those Taylor ham/pork roll breakfast sandwiches at those NJ diners look good

They do. My buddy from NJ swears by them.
I had a peameal bacon sandwich in Toronto, which was amazing. I’m guessing it’s likely kind of the same?

I can’t eat mangos. The texture and flavor just don’t do it for me. In terms of flavor, my mom forcing me to drink kiwi mango Snapple’s as a kid ****** it up for me I think. But the texture doesn’t work for me either now. Papaya is the other fruit I just don’t get down with.
