People always laugh when I say the potato is my favorite vegetable.

Went to Little Italy yesterday. This block has the best Italian eats in NYC. Went to the Cannoli King for cannoli's. I, personally am not a big fan of cannoli's. It's just always been pretty meh dessert to me & they all taste the same no matter where you get it from. I went with their best seller- the traditional cannoli & hazelnut chocolate flute which was basically smooth hazelnut gelato swirled with rich chocolate sauce. The cannoli was pretty good & the flute was legit.

Then we went to this Malaysian restaurant Nyonya around the corner which my sister in law raves about. For appetizer I had their Roti Canai. It's a Malaysian crispy style pancake served with curry dining sauce. Makes for a very good combo with the curry. Also had their fried with . After that we did some walking around & ended the night at Venchi on Bleecker St for some delicious . I had the pistachio & some chocolate icecream in a dark chocolate cup.

Some Korean a tenant was kind enough to share with me at work. Pretty damn good & not overly sweet. The red bean jam was different but a dope touch.

Gonna smoke a chuck roast this week..want to smoke it, shred it, then crisp it up on a pan for tacos but also kinda for practice for my first time doing a brisket soon

Somewhat did this a few days ago.

Seared both sides on the Weber, took it inside and put it in the slow cooker. Potatoes, carrots, ginger, jerk paste, all-purpose seasonings.

Came out good.

Italian tonight. Pre-gamed with L'Industrie & Ace's . Had Italian at Bar Pitti in The Village. We had their flat pasta which was great, eggplant parm also pretty good & spinach ravioli. Bonus pics of the Empire State Building wrapped with some dragon thing for Game of Thrones prequel.
