They won't or shouldn't win ... the sneakers are after market ...
It’s not really about winning. Nike doesn’t care if random people are customizing shoes. They care about national attention and having to answer questions like “are you affiliated with the devil”. That’s all this is about. It’s too mainstream for them to do nothing

That's fine, but suing someone and potentially put them in financial hardship is ****** up as well.

Imagine if they win??? Then everyone that customize anything could be sued ....

They literally bought these shoes from footlocker, "customized" them and are selling em for $1k. And really tryna advertise with a billboard artist like this is not a trademarked product lol. No way nike is letting that slide if they get wind of it, even without the satanism angle.

This is done all the time though ... not just in kicks but clothing, vehicles etc.

Starwood Motors
Tourig
Etc ....

Nike mad over the backlash .... however, they aren't mad when they release a ultra limited sneaker and kids are killing themselves for it.

**** out of here .... they stand for social justice and with Kap because that’s the audience they appeal too ....

Stop it .....

I read the advertising and it said a Lil Nas X and Mschf ....

BTW ... what's the difference from this and FlightClub, GOAT, StockX etc. Kicks are going for doubl3/triple/ etc on release date.

I mean that’s the choice they took when they did devil shoes. It got media attention but that also makes companies move

the “backlash” over Kaep or lgbtq stuff is a calculated risk and something they are ok with ruffling feathers over. The devil isn’t something they signed up for and they aren’t going to go to bat with media over it

Funny part about all this ia religion is oppressing freedom of speech ....

All this time, religious nuts have been telling LBGTQ community they are an abomination, they are a sin, they are going to hell, etc. But when that queer guy decides to embrace it, make a song Bout it and flip the script... these religious nut go crazy.

They would rather have them living in shame, oppressed and killing themselves .....

The same people that scream anti mask anti vaccine ...

Im not gonna sit up here and defend nikes morality or social responsibilities, idk where all that even came from. But from a business perspective they have every right to put a stop to this. If some took a brand you built into a household name and tried to mark it up 1000% under their own lable you'd do the same, or be a fool not to. Not saying it doesnt happen all the time with nikes, but when it gets too big and people are trying to build their own brands off of nikes popularity, they get sued. They just completely shut down warren lottas for something similar, without the santanism angle. But I'm sure that didnt help.

Stockx/goat dont profit off the markup on resale. They offer a marketplace and a middleman service which they charge a fee for. They dont sell shoes.
