Yes I literally know people who lost millions off bad investments. Think outside your financial bubble. It's very easy to lose 2 million dollars. It's not as much money as you think but like I said it really depends on your environment. Amongst certain circles bragging about your parents 2 million networth is laughable. There are societies in this country were 2 million means you're the poor person in the neighborhood.
