how do you walk to have only one shoe creasing?

^ It's not how I walk, I think it has more to do with weight distribution.

Since I am right foot dominant, somehow my brain tells my foot to put more pressure on that foot?!?

Yeah, the same thing happens to me. Some of my J's have paint chipping on the right shoe and no chipping on the left SMH. And I'm right handed.

i kinda have a rotation i just wear what matches my clothe but if its bad weather i got the beaters for that
laugh.gif

Man, I wanted them.

I usually don't wear a shoe 6months to a year after I get it. I like to see a lower number of people wearing the same shoe as me. I hate to wear my foams at all living in NYC smh it will probably be 2 years before I unds my red foam ones....

Your supposed to go a half size up but for the most part when you cut them right they are. I have wide feet due to been flat footed but their fine. I ran in my black cement 3s, wear them at least once a week, and not a single crease yet outside of the original one.

Like for instance, do you have a steady rotation?

Do you wear certain kicks in certain weather (rain, snow, sunshine)?

Do you walk 'irregular' in your kicks to keep them from creasing, or do you own some sneaker shields?

Do you clean the bottom of your kicks or just the 'top'?

Other questions as the discussion continues.

Just as an aside, every time I wear my J's I make sure I match with my clothing.

It just kills me to see people who wear J's but don't match with them (I've noticed this a lot when I lived in NY).

-I don't have a set rotation
-I won't wear white outsole/clear outsole or non-leather kicks in the rain/snow
-I don't walk irregular. Shoe trees in the Jordans, nothing in anything else
-I clean bottoms after each wear unless Im going to re-wear it within the next couple days
-I pick a shoe then my outfit, always match, never over-match.

funny that you mentioned something about walking funny. just other day i seen this dude with chicago X's on and he was walking and trying not to crease em. he looked like a damn fool!

I like your point about over-matching. Some people don't know what this means.
Everyone has their own style, but I don't need to over do it.

Usually, with my outfit, my sneakers are my best asset.

In my collection I only wear certain shoes. These certain kicks are surely rotated based on that day's activities and anticipated "wear". Yes it sounds weird but you do need to anticipate the kind of use your shoes will go through that day. For example going to a BBQ or going to the mall.

Same thing here.
Do you guys always put the shoe tree in the shoes when you store them? (or only when it's to store for a long period of time?).

I would like to know if I need to put them back in my bordeaux..

^ Actually bro, those don't crease.

At least not for me.

& as for the shoe tree question, I usually just keep the trees the sneakers come with when I'm storing them.

Nothing special.

Don't have any particular rotation. I just wear whatever I feel like wearing for that day. I think its kind of pointless to do anything special to keep from normal wear and tear.
