Funny, like attractiveness is subjective. People who say Martin was funnier are correct, but so are the people that say The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was funnier.

Martin isn't funny to me now. And I only find myself laughing because I remember it being funny to me at one point.

There are a few episodes that are and always will be hilarious though. (CD player, Air Wack, stuck in the bus station on Christmas, cult, looking for a job...etc.)

I might not laugh as hard at FP...but I laugh way more. It didn't get corny and there aren't too many failed attempts at humor...as with Martin.

I always hated Martin. The whole show was "extra" to me.

Yup, disregarding the martin hype, I enjoyed how wayans bros. shamelessly went for the laughs with funny one-liners and some slap-stick mixed in.  Both shows are funny, but I liked wayans bros' goofier brand of comedy which made me laugh out loud more than martin, who sometimes just relied on just exaggeratingly changing his voice tone and talking louder.

Basically.

I have all the seasons on DVD

But the jokes did start to get REALLY repetitive after the first two or three seasons.

Pam talks about martins head, height and ears, martin talks about her weave or her looking like an animal, Tommy talks about a job he doesnt have, Cole makes a brainless comment, Bruh man comes in and uses something, and bla bla bla.

Still one of my most favorite shows.

No way do I find Fresh Prince more appealing than Martin. Fresh prince was border line soap opera type. Martin was a comedy show that was true to form. I watched funny shoes not for seriousness but to laugh and that's exactly what Martin did! No sorry, sappy episodes. Just pure comedy.
