GOAT APP legit?

Just got a reply from GOAT, got denied for inusfficent evidence of selling. I gave them my Facebook name but realized after that all the sneaker groups I'm in are invite only lol

Replied back with my NT and Grailed handle
how long did it take for the reply?

Ordered a pair of Banned 1s from GOAT and just wanted to double check if they're 100% legit? I know they inspect shoes for fakes but has a fake ever slipped passed them?

That should be enough. I gave them my eBay handle black when they wanted evidence of selling and that I was legitimate.

Not that I am aware of but post in the Jordan legit check sub-forum. Not here.

I sent a Banned 1 to them and they say that the right toe box is B grade material and that the buyer want a discount. That should give you an idea on how thorough they are with checking shoes.

If the shoes has a damage box or has a defect that wasn't state, they will send you pics to your email to confirm.

Wow really? Where did you purchase them from?

That's the way Goat is, which is stupid
I agree. If they're going to be so *** nitpicky, there's no end to which a seller can complain about a sneaker. Had a friend who had to either pay for shipping back from GOAT or give a buyer 10% off because of a small scratch on the SOLE.

I believe GOAT has an option to list shoes with minor defects. I guess these and the Banned's someone noted above would fall under that category. The seller can sell the shoes as DS with minor defects and include pictures so the seller knows exactly what they are getting. It's really the only option if your shoe has even minor issues that a seller may complain about if GOAT didn't note it. Not saying I agree with GOAT on everything but it is an option.

I know what you're saying but at what point is something a defect vs an inevitable factory flaw. If you look at almost any pair of Jordans, esp w quality control today and # of pairs mass produced, you will find something to have an issue with. I haven't had any issues (knock on wood) but I would definitely be annoyed if someone wanted me to give them a discount bc of something extremely minor.

It depends on the individual man. I recently bought a pair of SBB for between $300-400 on eBay. The seller never noted that there is an obvious scratch/cut on the outside swoosh of the left shoe. His pictures didn't show it and the only picture I might have caught it in (that even showed the outer left shoe's swoosh) wasn't clear or close enough to properly notice. I had to request a return even though it was likely a factory flaw.  This upset the seller. Not everyone would notice the scratch when I wore it but it bothered me enough for a shoe I was paying resale on and wanted to cherish.

Anyways, it's a case by case issue for me. Some buyers are more/less picky than others and some factory flaws are more acceptable than others. Not saying I agree with GOAT on this individual case but I understand what they're doing. I've had issues for them too but unfortunately it's part of the process and worth it for the peace of mind I get for not dealing with scammers and other eBay issues.

Honestly it should be if they're legit, they get sold. If they're fake, they get sent back to the seller and they aren't able to sell anymore. But thats just my opinion.

Yea but someone should let the know, most shoes from JB come with small imperfections

Yes, most.

Goat is a good selling platform though as far as being new. I don't agree as far as the seller having to give a discount or pay for shipping because of a defect or flaw but I'll take them over EBay any day.

Don't have to worry about any fakes or chargebacks when it comes to buying or selling on there.
