GOING TO VEGAS IN A WEEK VOL: Help me with my experience...

Just got back from Vegas for a quick 2 day trip to celebrate my Mom's birthday.

Wicked Spoon is overrated.

Tried the Absinthe cocktail at the Sage Bar in Aria. Got a round for me and my brothers... 3  for $115

Didn't see no green fairy, but it's probably because I needed at least 2 or 3 of these to feel it. It was still cool to see the process.....

He didn't elaborate to the story other than dude really wants to end XS.

I mean, as fickle as the club scene is in Vegas, it's really not that hard to do. I remember when Pure and TAO was Marquee and XS (back in the day)... and that was just a few years ago. :lol

If he really wants to cripple them, it won't take much. But the fact that he's giving green light towards the budget just shows how pissed off dude is. :lol

Back in like 07 Pure and Tao were off the chain!

Who knows what will happen but more competition is always good
 
Went last weekend, had a great time.
Stayed at the Cosmo for the first time and that place is nice. It was posted a few pages ago but staying at a nice hotel>staying at a dump to save money. I just like atmosphere, surroundings, and the women at the "nicer" hotels. Went to XS and that place was packed. Just an FYI, never let women organize getting a table :lol got quoted a price that "included everything" and we get there and they say they need to charge us tax+gratuity, which was an extra 500.
Hit up Wicked Spoon the next day and it was ok, nothing spectacular.

Uhhhh, all tables require tax and gratuity. The quoted minimum is always before the added fees.

As for Hakkasan ruling the Vegas universe, yes it will make a dent, but if they keep their minimums at astronomical rates ($10K for dance floor...please), XS and Marquee will have no problem filling their tables.

There's enough money to support all 3. Hak will come down in prices aa the novelty wears off just like XS and Marquee did
