Gotham Knight video game (new trailer) 8/22/20 p.66

Looking good. I wanna get it for PS4 but I need that Slim version to come out already. Any word on that yet? I don't wanna buy a regular version and then have the Slim get announced a week later :smh:

Some Playstation news is expected to be announced tomorrow just after Apples event.

Not that both are involved with each other, just a coincidence.

There's also the Neo but it's pretty much a more powerful PS4 so not sure how much interest you have in that but some news on it might come out tomorrow.

It actually looks really good. Since i own the previous versions gonna wait for the Black Friday 19.99 special. Hopefully they let you change suits from the beginning of the game. Never did like that Arkham Asylum suit lol

Ah, I've been in the dark with Sony that I didn't even know there's another system. I can take a look into that as well. My biggest concern was paying retail for a new PS4 and these two new ones come out and/or the og version gets discounted after.

Same here. I really want to play the OG games with the Bale Bat-suit for some reason

New Arkham game but with Damien Wayne?

hmmmm....

Sources: WB Montreal Cancels Unannounced Suicide Squad Game, Shifts To Batman

Warner Bros. Montreal has cancelled their long-rumored Suicide Squad video game, sources tell Kotaku. The studio will now focus mainly on their other big project, a Batman game starring Damian Wayne.

Executives at Warner Bros. decided to axe the Suicide Squad game earlier this month following a long period of turbulence at WB Montreal, according to three people familiar with the studio. The game, which would star DC Comics’ eponymous band of anti-heroes, had been in development for at least two years. Hints of its existence had been floating around for just as long. I’ve heard it was a co-op game—and that it failed to impress Warner Bros. management during greenlight meetings—but not much else.

Warner Bros. Montreal, founded in 2010, is best known for developing Arkham Origins, a prequel to the Arkham series that came out in 2013. The studio has not announced any new games since then, although the end of Origins teased a Suicide Squad get-together, which led to the first rumors that WB Montreal was working on a game about the gang of government-employed villains. (The companion handheld game, Arkham Origins Blackgate, also teased Suicide Squad in its ending.)

Many had assumed WB Montreal’s game would come out alongside the movie this past August, but that release came and went with no word from Warner Bros. Games outside of a mobile tie-in. Now it’s clear: Unless they revisit Suicide Squad at some point in the future, the game isn’t happening.

The cancellation of Suicide Squad comes after a year of shake-ups at WB Montreal. Earlier this year, WB Montreal’s top bosses including studio head Martin Carrier and executive producer Reid Schneider left the company. At the end of November, Warner Bros. hired a new studio head: Stéphane Roy, who was previously an executive producer on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided at Eidos Montreal.

We don’t know much about WB Montreal’s Damian Wayne game, which was also rumored earlier this year. We’d originally heard that it would be revealed at the beginning of December, but given the studio shakeup, it’s not surprising that they haven’t announced it yet. This Batman game may not be out for a while.
