Gran Turismo 5 | OT | v2.03 + DLC is LIVE | Is Your Engine Ready?!

Okay I'm gonna give it another shot, thanks guys. And damn, that new NSX is nice but still not seeing the GT-R.

^ I wouldn't call it an "electric car". It's still got a mid-mounted V6. The 2 electric motors at each of the front wheels makes it a 'hybrid', but the hybrid-parts aids performance in that it increases the speed of the outside-wheel for better handling. Interesting concept, no doubt.

Finns ~ Another interesting thing about the vid (other than the fact that there's no GT-R
eek.gif
) is that there's footage of a new track(s).
EDIT ~ 2.03 update coming soon... AVENTADOR!

What's wrong with my driver? Here he was on lap 10 of that B-Spec seasonal and started driving like a grandma and got passed before the finish line. I used a NSX with high-range turbo and a level 35 driver. wth?

^ Which one, Spa or Le Mans? Did you pit for tires? Were your tires worn-out?

I've only done the Spa one and usually win by around 20-30seconds, even when my guy was in the low Lv30's. I didn't pit for tires on lap 7, but even if I did, I still won comfortably.

Holy crap!

I had no idea NT had such a GT fan base. Add me, PSN BEMBEMBOWBOW. I'm a clean racer, I like to run street cars but 500-550pp usually ends up being a super car shoot out.

I pit on 7 just to be safe.  But with an NSX you shouldn't have a problem. From my experience I was in first place by the end of lap 5 with ease.

^ Yeah, lap 5~P1 for me too. After that you need to do a bit of baby-sitting just to make sure he doesn't go too slow, but it shouldn't be a problem at all.  But even without pitting, I could still do 2:38-39 laptimes which was enough.
Finns ~ and you're sure you have the PP 600 and started with intermediate tires? By lap 7, my gap was already up to around 10secs, give or take. How about your lap times? My fastest lap on inters was around 2:35 or so, while on slicks it was around 2:31. As long as your lap times don't drop too significantly (say 2:43 or slower) you should win with ease.

I'm still trying to get all my guys to around Lv 35 before attempting the LeMans one. These races are a good opportunity to Lv-up all your guys, but they end at the end of Jan so this is the time to grind.

Tr1ll ~ Will add you later!

EDIT ~ DLC confirmed.

The first time he was well out in front (Raybrig NSX/LVL 35) and ended up pitting even after I told him not to. So he finished in 3rd. He was well out in front and started coasting when I told him to keep pace. On the second race, for some reason the pack started out with inters and my guy was in 6th until the 8th lap when everyone pits. I told him not to and he was doing fine until the last lap where he slowed because of worn tires, and came in 3rd again. I was
