But my pair is perfect, i seen worse at footaction..

The quality of 11s is at an all time low. Think about it there are more people getting into the sneaker game t I an out. 4 all us og collectors we know the differences of the latest 11s to the old ones. Jb is mass producing shoes at a higher rate to meet demand. I think if the demand was not so great maybe just maybe we would get a higher quality shoe. In this case its not gonna happen.

How can you really say the quality is the same though? Do you really know they use the same sole, same cushioning, same glue?? I mean if you can prove to me the qualities are EXACTLY the same, then I would believe it.

It's like when your cooking something, you must follow the recipe. If your using substitutes to make up for what you don't have, then it's not the true product. Just a variant. Really close but can you call it the same?

I mean from those space jams with the icy sole, man those pods were really misaligned, Different PL cut, etc. But maybe it doesn't prove they are fake. But what makes them real? Do you know they are produced at the official production lines in China? They are just produced in off hours? I think that's what bugs me about it. I don't hear enough reasons why they are real. Just hear reasons why they couldn't be fake. And to be honest to me they are fake

And another thing, sure you can call those icey space jams legit (Though I don't think so) but you obviously can't advertise it's a 2009 space jam. And I see that everywhere and that's really wrong. IT HAS TO BE YELLOWED BY NOW. Don't claim it's a 2009 pair, even if those fake tags say so. Heck you could print anything on a tag. It's counterfeit

if they were made now by da same factories that made legit ones with legit materials, that means they're grey market pairs.

i seen those in person, absolutely identical besides da fresh icy sole that appears to have been made recently with da latest rounds

of retros.

i like how you always address the questions that are easily answered with some BS.

to say "these were made in the same factory, with the same materials, by the same workers as 100% authentic pairs" is just CONJECTURE.  If you don't know what that means, look it up.  Unless you have solid proof to back up these claims, then there is no "end of story."

Da fact of da matter is unless JB/nike had some secret asian release launch that we didnt know about

Then these are straight up grey market pairs. I seen

Pairs of these in person, they're identical to my store

Bought pairs. Frankly there is no way that could be

Happening unless da same factory is making. Now

We can have mature discussion about what exactly

Is going on thats allowing this to happen, or you

Can bury your head in da sand & continue to ignore

Da fact that grey market pairs are now everywhere.

Telling people to purchase "yellowed" jordans is hilarious in itself cuz if you want da honest truth

Those icy blue space jams look better then 2009

Pairs & this is coming from da owner of 2 pairs.

keep talking about "fact of the matters" without providing TRUE evidence other than your own shoddy "well i compared my two pairs blah blah"

like i said... CONJECTURE.

and no i'm not burying my head in the sand, I'm being realistic and seeing both sides of the argument.  I've taken your points as well as others.  But i feel like you're automatically dismissing what others are saying because you've already convinced yourself of these "facts" you speak of.

But c'mon Gimmesome...he said "end of story". lololol. That mean's that he's right...doesn't it? lololol.

@ninja you exactly just proved my point. You look in person and you claim they must be exactly the same materials and made from the same exact factory.

I mean, you make it sound like ONLY Nike has the material to make these shoes. You don't think there is a supplier nike buys the material from? You don't think the same supplier could be supplying others? Does Nike actually grow their own patent leather in their factory? No one else can produce the same patent leather as Nike? And PL is just an example of one material out of many. How do you claim the basis of they are coming out of the same factory? Do you have evidence of shipments from the nike factory they are making space jams? Or is it just cause they are all made in china that you assume they are?

To claim they are the real due to your perception cannot be universally true. Just because they have the same materials doesn't mean they are made in the same factory.

Your saying your real space jams were made by a Nike factory. The grey pair you have looks and feels exactly like your real pair (Just a different sole). Therefore your grey pair is made by a Nike factory. That's a logical fallacy.

tl;dr

Correlation does not imply causation.

The cooking metaphor you use here is PERFECT. In fact, everything you say here is pretty much spot on in my opinion.

Please don't use big words with ninja. You should have said, "You see what had happened was da factories grabbed some materials dat looked legit and slapped together some joints dat looked jus like da real thang." I kid I kid....but in reality...GERALD G...you brought up some really good points here. It makes sense that they'd be able to get access to similar materials.

I'm now seeing a new phenomenon where websites are popping up that will sell two grades of the same shoe. They'll have a 70 dollar space jam, and a 275 dollar space jam. Clearly both fake. The 70 dollar pair looks TERRIBLE, like fake Jordan's did before there were "grey market" shoes. The 275 dollar pair looks like the rest of the Taobao, MentalKicks, SDS garbage. I think they have access to different materials, and are now making two different grades of fakes. I've seen this on more than one newer website.

@italipino Ha. Thanks fam. G is for Gamboa. Filipino lol. I appreciate the feedback

But yes completely agreed. The market is now getting flooded with a low end quality, high quality, and a real quality version of shoes. It's kind of crazy to be honest. Actually watched a video about it, extremely interesting how these high quality fakes are done.

at da end of da day to paint

with da same brush you paint

these with isn't doing ANYONE any favors

da fact of da matter what part of "ive seen these in person"

and "these are made exactly like my 2009" space jams ya dont understand?

ya seems to be VERY naive of da companines subcontracting factories to make their product, this situation mirrors

exactly when da people who were contracted to make ewings back in da day were producing without permisson from da back

door and selling em to other reigons, resulting in eventual lawsuts and da closure of da company da first time. that CAME from

da horse's mouth, da guy that runs Ewing Athletics can tell you.

now you gotta be a idiot to equate these with fakes...it just doesn't match at all. these are grey market that DEFINITELY have some

ethical concerns, but fake? nah...fakes dont have carbon fiber, never have never will. these same companies are selling foamposites.

im sorry, but there's NEVER been fake foamposites that use real foam and carbon fiber..it doesn't exist...period.

now we can have a mature discussion on what exactly is going on or ya can be dismissive and continues to pretend nothing is going

on.

Listen Buddy...homeboy himself came on here and outed himself. THE OWNER of SDS SAID he was selling fake kicks.Remember the Concorde fiasco that Zyzz ended up catching all that heat for (still catching heat for actually)? THEY had REAL carbon fiber. His business got shut down. If the owner himself said they were fake...then they were fake. Carbon fiber don't mean nothin.

Who said they were fake? He said they were made

With scraps of cool greys FROM DA SAME FACTORY

Reading is comprehension... & they're still in business.
