GSWARRIORS THREAD VOL. ANDDD AGAINNNN NBA CHAMPIONS

Hoping I can get up north to rest and watch tonight's game. Looking forward to seeing them extend their winning streak.

Another OT game, anyone? lol

Good game against Cleveland. Avoided Twitter the rest of the day. Didn't want to deal with the people complaining about if it was a foul call or not.

Damn this dude Baron davis pulled Admiral Holdo?
I saw that. Not surprised, Baron has game and Laura Dern was married to Ben Harper for 8 years and dated Common. So she knows what she likes.

Just a couple I would have never expected.

Also thought that Baron was married to Jordana Brewster's sister. Guess that didn't work out.

I thought the Warriors would have some issues with Utah, but I saw that Gobert is out and forgot Hayward is now in Boston.

Solid win again. Happy to see McCaw break out of his slump and Casspi continuing his solid play.

Cool to see McGee get some PT. Curious who the Warriors would trade him for, if he did end up in Milwaukee. Either way, he's been a pro handling his lack of PT.

I wouldnt be mad at trading him for cash or some young rookie from the 2nd round. Our G league team has some depth and i get the feeling that they want to try to keep Cook but also give Jones a shot.

Can't be a good sign that you've been leap frogged by 3 others players that were teammates down there

^^ YEAH, hopefully it's not as bad as it looks. he looked like he was in pain but was able to walk off the court without too much of a limp.
the day after is usually the worst- hopefully it didn't swell up too much

Man, I turned off the game with 6 minutes left. Smh.

Speaking of G-League...Terrence Jones seems to be making some noise. His statline from the other night was nice.

27 points, 16 rebounds, five assists, two steals and six blocks with a team-high +19 in 39 minutes

Also, I had high hopes with Ekpe Udoh coming back to the NBA after his success in Europe. Looks like he's not in the right system or is being utilized wrong in Utah? Or the NBA game is just another level for him.

How do you guys feel about the "city series" jerseys?

I didn't like it at first glance because I thought it was too colorful. But then I saw the chest design up close and realized it was a Chinese dragon. I now understand it and appreciate it. I still think they should have made it red, but I understand why they want to keep it team colors. Out of all the "city" jerseys, the Wizards and Hornets jerseys are top of the pack followed by the Memphis, Sixers, Timberwolves, and Detroit.

I think the Warriors city jersey is nice, but I don't think it's the best. I really like Utah's.

Just saw the rest of the lineup...Add Memphis, Minny, and Cleveland to the list as well.

Miami probably has the best city jersey imo.
Miami's is nice, saw that one a few hours ago.

The Timberwolve's jersey is nice too and the Cavs one is cool.

The Utah one is odd though, but I guess they're trying to theme it after their desert's sunsets. That's my guess anyways. It's just confusing because that state isn't associated with hot weather.

Moab, Utah is my guess why they went with that team.

Btw, drove through Utah and it's beautiful.

Makes sense. I thought you were talking about the MOAB-bomb for a sec thinking "I guess the colors resemble an explosion" until googled Moab, Utah. I was close to going there when I visited family in Boise, but I ran out of time.

Surprised Warriors lost tonight. More surprised why McGee wasn’t used to defend Dwight. He could have slowed him down a little bit.

I too was confused about this one. Not discounting Hornets, but they're just above-average to good at best. I believe we are just too laxed on defense and played with no urgency, which kinda feels like it's been happening the whole season.

Tbh I'll give them one of these every now and then. They have not lost back to back all year indicating that they do not allow these down stretches to extend. Ironically the key to beating this team so far is for the opponent to be boring and uninteresting.

Kerr has thrown out numerous starting lineup combinations and they are still 1st in the West, nothing to worry about here.

True, we played well when we needed to and took out contenders like we should. I'm just used to us locking teams down and having control of the tempo(game). It just seems like this year we haven't played out of our minds consistently. But, like you said, we can attribute that to multiple reason. Right now with Curry being out and Green not being 100% might be the main culprits. Also, I believe the bench(role-players) isn't playing great this season(still well above average). Though, I'm sure Kerr is working on this and mixing things up until his gameplan solidifies so I'm not worried one bit, just perceptive of the differences.
