health needs an increase.
dmr needs a nerf. br needs a slight increase in range.
also can we get more than 3 maps like are you ******g kidding me this game has been around for 4 series.... just grab a few old maps and touch em off if need be. lack of maps is one thing that really killed reach, all the maps were unbalanced garbage. the only thing close to reasonable in this game atm is haven.

All of this. The DMR shouldn't be able to be the best gun far range AND still be very effective from close range. The maps are all too big as well, like you said they have to implement some smaller maps because they're all DMR/BR based essentially no point for the other guns.

Am I the only one mad that there's no classic Slayer... Halo used to be fun for me because you needed x amount of kills and you win... And I ALWAYS play free for all. Now with regicide or whatever even if you have the most kills it doesn't mean you win because it's based off of points..... wth... I haven't been itching to play at all.. makes me shad. :[

I have only played one MP game so far. I just beat it on Legendary last night and gave it a shot. I saw that it was point based. Do you know if the points are based on damage done? If so thats good. That means your assists actually count for something now. Hate coming in 2nd-3rd place and I have more assists than some people have kills.

I think they made it like this with the point system to combat kill stealing.

I know some players that sucked in previous Halo's and would just linger around and wait until someone almost dead and quickly swoop in and steal the kill.

Then when I you go up againste them gun to gun you could our BR/DMR them all day.

I see where both sides are coming from with this issues though.

I still haven't receeved the game from UPS even though I was supposed to get it since the sixth but due to the weather conditions that it states on the tracking screen I"m still waiting.

Might not even be able to play it this weekend though :x

Idk if it just me, but 90% of the time im using Assault Rifle and muuuuurkin. My style of play is obviously close quarters but the AR is soooo underrated....

I've played about 30 matches, have only lost 2, and have yet to come in any place lower than 2nd....that thing is a beast

Overall, yes this game needs a few tweaks but it's made me compleeeeetely forget that i copped 2k13 not too long ago.......

I'm not complaining about the fact that there is one, it needs to be there or it wouldn't be halo. The DMR itself is the real issue. The gun is too powerful and it was a problem in reach and somehow they thought it made sense to make it even more powerful this time around by making the bloom nonexistent. The BR was the perfect balance of power and range, it was just as powerful as the dmr in mid to close range but super long range it left a few things to be desired, that's not the case with the DMR. You can pin someone down from anywhere on the map and it flat out brings map movement to a halt. The vahalla remake is the perfect example. That map was built for H3 not H4 and it shows. There's no reason why I should be able to stand by the waterfall trees and shoot a guy that's by turret side unless I have snipe. With the DMR I can though. It does the same thing on the smaller maps too, but I don't really mind it there cause good map movement can eliminate that aspect but it's killing big team and every mid size map like it did in reach. Hit scan BR was all that was needed.

The maps are trash. They should just remake a couple small and big maps from halo 2. They also need to add objective games for BTB. I know they said snipers, swat, and ranks will be added but they need to hurry or some of the population will get bored and move on to something else.

Can't believe this is what 343 managed with that huge budged. It seems they either needed a public beta or more time. No excuses with that budget though.
