One common theme I've noticed so far from the movies named is that they simply aren't very good movies
. I've seen a lot of them, but mostly on cable. I'd never pay to see some of the movies listed. I got got with The Village. I didn't walk out, but to this day I STILL want my money back for that horrible excuse of a movie. I don't walk out because I'll be damned if I'm going to waste my money like that, but two movies come to mind. Punisher: War Zone and Ghostrider 2. Those were really horrible. I try to give all comic book movies a shot but those were just abysmal. I have a rule for movies though to cut out all the BS and not waste money. The time I frequent the movies the most is summer time (April - August). That's summer blockbuster zone to be entertained. If a movie comes out in September, a few might surprise you but not really. They weren't good enough for a summer blockbuster season and not good enough for holiday time. So Sept/Oct is eliminated for me. I don't buy into those wack *** horror movies for Halloween either. Such a waste. Holiday movies November/December are hit or miss. Most try to dupe families into going to the movies to have something to do and it's BS. Avoid all movies in Jan/Feb/Mar, they're just bad. That's my formula to avoid wasting money from crap I can catch flipping channels later.
^ I enjoyed Big Fat Liar on cable fwiw and I have yet to see Anchorman 2. Whoever said Anchorman was terrible was buggin.
