Tasha a real one man.ThisShe wanted him when he was cashing unemployment checks and showing people how to delete their internet history at Best Buy. She good in my book
I personally hate that phrase cause it's mostly used by women who have terrible attitudes and say that to defend how stank they are instead of trying to improve themselves
I understand it but I'd have to hope you at least understand the frustration of going to work everyday and seeing your unemployed significant other lazing around, doing nothing or barely the bare minimum. My wife held me down after my worst break up and I'm eternally grateful but if I took advantage of her love for me for an extended period of time and didn't even try to change my situation or grow I wouldn't be mad that she felt that she needed somebody else because I was slacking on my job.
If I get lazy at my place of employment I'm not gon get mad at my boss for interviewing new associates.
Lawrence displayed that attitude for the first 2 episodes...lol at first I thought he was a straight up loser, but when they flesh him out, you see he's a good guy....we all go through funks, he was searching for jobs, is not like he wasn't doing that...he had ambition and trying to get an app off the ground, Issa jumped ship too early on him....relationships are full of sacrifices for the greater good and while money is important, it shouldn't be the defining factor in the relationship....**** if that was the case I wouLd have been bailed on mines

I'm saying.I really enjoy reading the commentary on twitter as to why Lawrence was so in the wrong and Issa supposedly wasn't. "He wasn't even trying to do anything, he had to be motivated." Um, whatAs if he was just at home chilling with no plans
Oh yeah son said "What's brackin?" Like it ain't have another c in it
This **** is funny to me, like what are the rules for this? They ban't account for every "c" in every word can they?
I agree. Another thing that works in Tasha's favor is we never saw her in a negative light. Banker who sees potential in Lawrence and looks good. We never saw her nagging. She had hot sauce in her bag so you know she not too bougie lol
I think this displays another thing as well, bruh was in a funk and wanted to get the app off the ground, Issa wanted him to get a job. Some people would rather people get a job than work for themselves because they're too scared to do it themselves.
basically.. its only right when it comes from a black woman to a balck woman..What I find sad is some of those same women bashing Lawrence were nodding in agreement when Molly told Issa she didn't deserve Lawrence.
Stripper was gross bro, do your own research, and don't post her info here either.still no info on the stripper?
Im convinced Lawrence smashin Tasha IRL. Could be good acting but son had his hands all over that mass.
Well, yes & no.We all fall into a confort zone after a while, it's part of the process of long term relationships....you go from never burping in front of each other to taking a shower while the other takes a **** at the same time....he was in a slump, if that was enough for Issa to seek someone else, Issa doesn't deserve him, how does the saying go?
You don't want me at my worst, you don't deserve me at my best.
My wife has been unemployed for 3 years, I've held her down, in surrounded by young professional nurses making bank everyday, pretty ones at that, never does it cross my mind to step out...I know my shorty gonna pull through for us....Tasha saw that in Lawrence and uplifted him when he was at his lowest, she didn't judge, she made him feel better....that's what Issa should have been doing.

I think the slump seemed brief to us cause we came along during the end of it. And he got out of that slump cause of her.Lawrence displayed that attitude for the first 2 episodes...lol at first I thought he was a straight up loser, but when they flesh him out, you see he's a good guy....we all go through funks, he was searching for jobs, is not like he wasn't doing that...he had ambition and trying to get an app off the ground, Issa jumped ship too early on him....relationships are full of sacrifices for the greater good and while money is important, it shouldn't be the defining factor in the relationship....**** if that was the case I wouLd have been bailed on mines
I see your point, but is Issa justified in cheating? Now to clarify, I'm not tryna defend Issa cheating (either time) but let's not act like good guy Lawrence was grinding all day everyday to get his app out. He got super comfy with Issa cause he knew she was dedicated to him and had hung in there for so long. You can see that when he did practically nothing for her birthday. Issa got fed up and left, which was the swift kick in the butt he needed to get something going other than waiting for his business plan to come together.
I think everybody has a natural desire to defend the person they identify with and will often overlook some issues because they understand how it could get that way
Not debating that at all, Issa was wrong for cheating. Especially since they had just made up and were back on good terms. She was especially foul for acting like everything was cool and accepting that she'd take that lie with her to the grave. I just can't look at Lawrence as just a dude in a minor slump, he slipped and fell and got comfy on the floorWell, yes & no.
Lawrence should absolutely take some responsibility for the deterioration of the relationship. He should absolutely own some of that.
He should NOT take any responsibility for Issa actually having sex with someone else while she & Lawrence are still in a committed relationship.
Those are two entirely different things.
A women, or anyone, needing affection is a natural human desire. If your partner hasn't been providing that for a while, it is 100% natural to begin to look for that elsewhere. That's not a character flaw. That's not scumbag behavior.
But if you take the next step & have sex with another person & then go home to your significant other w/ no intention of breaking up, w/ no intention of telling them about what you just did? I ask you what's wrong and you look me in the eye & say "nothing"? That is a character flaw. That is scumbag behavior. Lawrence should NOT take responsibility for Issa being a scumbag.
