Went to pick up food from a restaurant the other day and they were letting people dine in. Had to do temperature checks as well.

IMO, any setting where people gather indoors and sit/eat/talk without facial coverings for extended periods of time should not be allowed for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately only essential activities should be allowed, and bars and dine-in restaurants are simply not essential.

There's no good way to spin this. Even if we sealed off every nursing home, we'd still have 57% of the total deaths.

I wish the article addressed age though. Obviously the average age is higher in nursing homes, but does that explain the higher percentage of deaths? Also, are infections seen at higher rates in nursing homes?

This is bad news for COVID! Bet the virus didn't see this one coming.

Imagine working hard the past month to infect a million people in the community and finally get to the hospital only to realize that the workers all have fresh gowns on. This must be how Trump felt when he finally became president and then found out they don't have child prostitutes in the White House.
 
Looks like school with continue with hybrid learning or anything else that doesn’t have students in class or in class full time. Wow. Glad I graduated back in May. But going forward, wow....
