I damn near had a panic attack today, so while you may be tripping, under these circumstances, tripping seems like a reasonable reaction. People are making all kinds of assumptions, but only thing's for sure, things aren't what they used to be.

Sounds like that's the plan, but numbers aren't confirmed. Desperate times as this was floated around prior to the 08 recession, so it lets us know how bad of a recession we could be facing. There's over 200 million people over 18 in the US, but I'm assuming they're not planning to send millionaire/billionaires $1000 checks as well. However, it would take $200 billion to give 200M people $1K each. Saw an interview with Yang earlier and he was recommending $500 per child too, so we'll see what happens. I hope for the sake of our economy it works.

this shouldnt be something they give to every single person. Absolutely needs to be controlled. If you make over $150k a year, for example, you're not getting it.

$150k for an individual is somewhat reasonable, but capping households that gross $150k would be way too low.
