hmmm... yuck fuku niketalk=/=sneakertalk

From what I saw, it's a mess.

They tried to trick users that didn't know the most current move (to this) was the "new" niketalk and played it off as if NT changed their name/ layout.

I'd say change your current passwords and just let that site die off...users who don't know this is the real site will soon learn within the next few days.
 
The grimiest part of all this is that they KEPT all the donation threads that NT has built up over the years and claiming it as their work.

They also cleaned up all the pron and trolling and trying to make it seem like Niketalk has just changed into Sneakertalk.

It's like 1984 in that site. Deleting any indication of what's going on and tricking people into thinking nothing changed.

I just hope we can get all that content back and moved in here immediately. Some of the memorable threads such as the Jordan XVI post and Jordan Black/Cement IV from 99' thread should be ours.

Especially the threads made my BabyJ and Snuggles that are in the archives.

WE broke all the sneaker news and put up pics of upcoming sneakers and they're playing it off as theirs. This is some serious BS.

Ok so I been away for a few days and I come back to this. So this is the "real" nt and wha t eva the hell I came across earlier is the fake nt?
 
Who peeped them dudes replying to threads like **** is sweet, keeping all th donation threads visible and such. I cant wait till Meth takes action this is crazy
 
The main thing that sucks about this switch is that I have bookmarked so many threads that all redirect me back to sneakertalk. :smh

If anyone wants to have the layout KIND OK look like OG NT follow these steps:

1. Go clock your name on the top right
2. Click Edit Account Details
3. Scroll down to Forum Preferences
4. Check off the box "View Forums Full Width"

It's not going to look EXACTLY like OG NT, but it's pretty close.

Anyone know how to get the smileys back?

If that's what they did when they found out after the fact, what do you supposed would've happened if they'd caught on sooner?

Don't bring the NT community name down, even though it so easy to troll their forums after what happened to us.

I dont understand whats so confusing. Theres a site called NIKEtalk and a SNEAKERtalk. Which one was you on last week??

The only underhanded thing about it is if you dont clear your cache and cookies, when you type in niketalk.com, it'll take you to sneakertalk.
 
Saw that fake-***** ST and left right away. Posted a "eff it" on the way out, complete with a SoLong.gif with Chow from Hangover...of course it got deleted with the quickness :lol:

Glad to be a part of this REAL NT community right here. Can you believe those ST fools just changed to the black bg/red font to try and trick even more poor souls?

Trust me, guys, we're not going to let them get away with this.  We're also not just going to run in there, guns blazing, without a very clear strategy.  The people who did this to us are greedy, unethical individuals and they're ACTING like greedy, unethical individuals.  That's who they are and that's their weakness.  We, however, are a COMMUNITY.  We have strength in numbers.  We have character, we have values, and we have pride.  Our community response should resemble our community.

Getting NikeTalk off of Yuku was only half the battle.  The other half will be fought by ALL of us. 

I'm sure we'll get into a lot more depth later on - but, for now, don't get your Yuku accounts banned just yet.  We will most certainly have use for them soon.
