Houston Rockets Thread - Preseason vs Spurs (Friday)

i'm very interested in what the market looks like this summer for Danny Green, Khris Middleton, Kyle Singler, and Wes Matthews.

The name Kyle Singler just made me go into a coma.

Also, heard that Parsons is attempting to recruit Bev to the Mavs. If Cuban wants to throw another max type contract at Bev, go right ahead and destroy your cap Mavs. However, Parsons is gonna make me legit hate him instead of just sports-hate him.

Only if we don't get an actual upgrade, especially someone relatively young. No Raymond Felton/Jeremy Lin type guys.

I thought I read somewhere that we offered Llull a contract

Edit: maybe it's just what he could offer him.

He knows what's best for business.

Watching these earlier Clutch city docs (originally airing in 1999), and the similarities between our current team and those past teams is scary. I knew they were similar, but seeing it play out watching these docs is something else. The getting down into a hole due to poor rebounding, sloppy play and going through scoring droughts after getting leads (a 10 minute scoring drought was recalled :x :lol). Jesus. Really wish this team as it's currently constructed would have advanced.

Haven't really been following our draft interest but correct me if I'm wrong, If Justin Anderson (Virginia) is available isn't he a must pick? 6'6 wing with amazing athletic ability, played in a defensive power house system under Tony Bennet, a much improved spot up shooter... dude fits right into our system

Sounds like Payne is shooting up the draft. He might be out at 18. Jones, Grant and Wright seem to be the play. Grant the playmaker. Jones the morey ball guy and Wright the year away play.

I missed the first 30 minutes but what I did see, it was a very good doc. I love both watching and reading about how teams go from the bottom to the top, and the rollercoaster before and after a title, especially dealing with trades and such. This doc also reminded me how bad I wanted this current team to be in thr Finals .

Cam Payne said he had a promise from a lottery team right?

I swear I said this somewhere :lol assuming we fix our PH situation outside the draft, then yeah I'd like him.

reports out that greivis vasquez said the twolves and rockets are interested in him. i'm already thinking bev is gone because someone will offer him more money than we will. bring over Llull and Vasquez and point is upgraded. also read we're trying to get the 25th or 26th pick in the first as well. most likely a nick johnson + 32 for 25 or 26.

Yeah im hearing that guy Llul is pretty nice. Damn Bev good as gone now. This is def a big upgrade from Pab/Terry.

Wish we could of seen Bev in the WCF though smh

do you know who we're trying to move up to get (7 spots later than we already got, right) ?

DMO so valuable to us. He's by far our best back to basket offensive player. His post game ***** on Dwight's and it still has some ceiling left. If we can get him stronger and a little more explosive, he will be una problema mejor
