yes i do love the Blue IS-F...my car will be parted out and gone by the end of the year, and while my car was in service i had a chance to test drive theIS-F...it is a SUPERB car for the price--sadly i kind of want to leave the Japanese car market for my next car, once the 350 is gone i am going to try to seeif i can get into a nice bmw this time around.
 
Before it got lowered, debadged , new pipes, new front bumper, blacked out turning signals, new lights.

Why so? I'd take an IS-F over an M5 or CL AMG anyday. Granted they may be more luxurious, the IS-F just looks so much more aggressive.

Then again, you woudnt go wrong with either 3.

Weld Racing wheels
Smoked taillights
Maximum Motorsports Full-Length Sub-Frame connectors welded on
Polyurethane motor mounts and ****** mount

Ran a 13.4 before the heads/valvesprings/roller rockers/mass-air/injectors/full suspension/full exhaust/upper and lower intake... Should be a mid to low 12second car all day. Made 263hp and 306 torque to the wheels on the dyno... I have a friend who made 256hp and 299torque and ran a 12.5 with a GT (heaviercar). Can't wait to hit the track up this year

1959 AMC Rambler Super
originally had a inline 6 cyl. engine 195 ci.
now it has a small block 400/400 trans. out of a '72 Chevy Impala
9" ford rear end
custom 2 1/2" dual exhaust
lowered about 7-8" had to channel the frame in the rear i have about 3" of clearance where the headers and exhaust hang under the car

its in the shop now getting the motor rebuilt
the cylinders will be overbored .030"
the main bearings will be .010" over
changing the intake manifold and cyl. heads to aluminum Edelbrock Performer RPM, the cam and lifters will also be Edelbrock Performer RPM
it will have all MSD Ignition



this is the motor when i got the car about a year ago

ill post pics when i get the car back in about 2-3 weeks edit: the car has no power steering, a/c, power locks, power windows, or power breaks. i bottomed outon some tracks and put a gash in the gas tank, it has a 21 gallon fuel cell now

i've always wanted to get into building up an old school like that. but i have no idea what expenses for a project like that are compared to buying bolt onparts for a japanese car.

i find myself on craigslist from time to time looking for older cars to buy as a project, but i have no idea where to start and what to look for

Nothing yet...kinda on the fence about trading it in for a g37
