Other than those 2 and Tales Of A Hustler Pt. 2, album was fire.......

How you leave off "Tales of a Hustler Pt. 2" my dude?....Oschino and Beans spazzed. "Tales of a Hustler, thats me in the flesh...got a Jag anda Caddy sellin dimes off the step. _s wanna take my block, had to earn my respect...so I put his cerebellum on his Granma steps...You know Oschino, he'llprobly kill. Got the soul of Huey Newton _, Bobby Seale...."

Joint is a personal classic in my book.

Yo F Joe Buddens...Beans is without a doubt the most underrated rapper in the game.

I be listening to this dude material like
sick.gif
were have I been and
smh.gif
at what I've been missing.

Loved his first album The Truth. I have his other's on the iPod, but haven't thoroughly listened through it.

I know he talks that gangster sh.., but I like it from him (nh) more than any other rapper doing it.

Plus, the N is a big Biggie fan so I know he recognize real off bat.

i like The Reason better but this album is still dope. i cant listen to Gotta Have It or the song w/ snoop

Look At Me Now is by far my favorite song on the album

^^^Beans is underrated by who? Nobody sleepin on that boi...

And yea, this album is very high up on my alltime album list...

What doesn't make it a classic, in your opinion?

I like it, but I think a classic has to have some sort of mainstream success.

I was gonna put shame on you for not adding "Tales of a Hustler part 2"
but I see other cats already blasted you for that
laugh.gif

the sax on that joint....
Sparks never became the gifted lyricist I had hoped he would be, but he was always one of my faves in SP cuz the emotion in his voice and delivery, he soundedlike he was always on that real talk
his verse on Tales Part 1 is the stuff I'm talkin about...

my other faves were "Change Gon Come" and "Can't Go On This Way"
the soulful vibe was crazy on this album...

The beat and Snoop hook on "Don't Stop" wasn't bad at all IMO,
just a song that should NEVER have been pitched to Beanie Sigel
or any other rapper who would say something like "eat a %%%* with AIDS on the tip" on such a song...

and yes Peedi was the star of "I Gotta Have It"
it's gettin
it's gettin
it's gettin kinda hectic

personal classic

CD knocks from start to finish...stand out tracks are Look @ Me Now (song is like my mindset right now), TOAH II, Feel It In The Air (even though i got annoyedwith the chorus) and I Cant Go On This Way

B. Coming > all Beans albums....The Reason was solid but this is more well rounded

Def not a classic but I do feel that its a great album. Dude went with this one. I still remember the first time I heard 'Feel It In The Air'..

I don't think its even close . . . I only heard it once all the way through, tried to listen again but I just wasn't into it . . .

Philadelphia Freeway >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The B. Coming

I would argue PF is a classic, I doubt I'll ever listen to The B Coming again all the way through . . . It had its moments "Feel It In The Air","Can't Go On This Way", "Change Gon Come", "Bread & Butter" (my first time hearin it, on Hot 97, I go outside to get asnackbox on Broadway and who do I see?? Sadat X) maybe 2 or 3 others.
