First week of school, freshman year of HS I was at lunch with friends and the most beautiful thing I had ever seen walked passed us and out of the cafeteria. My jaw literately dropped and I stopped dead in the middle of my sentence. My friends were snapping their fingers at me trying to bring me back to reality.
I saw him around throughout the year and just admired him from afar. Turned out his best friend had a French class with my best friend. His best friend also had a crush on me. My friends and his friends slowly merged our groups together (they were trying to hook me up with my crush's friend.) It was sort of a pack, there were at least 10 of us together at any given time.
I didn't have class with him or anything because he was a senior and I was a freshman so I was still scared out of my wits to talk to him even though I saw him every day. Finally I got the balls to write him a note telling him how much I liked him and how gorgeous I thought he was. He sent me an email the next day that took me 3 days to get the courage to open. It basically said something along the lines of "OMG, are you serious? You like me? I wish you had told me that ages ago! I've liked you for so long and just haven't had the nerve to say anything because I know my friend likes you." The issue of my age came up a bit but he eventually said he just didn't care.
That was it. That's all it took. The next day at school we were a couple, no questions asked. We ended up with a reputation for being completely and ridiculously lovey-dovey. The teachers called us Romeo and Juliet (they called him Romeo because of the movie Romeo Must Die with Jet Li, he's Asian and we went to school in the ghetto.) "

Then later he walks into my hotel room (which I shared with 6 guys O__O;; [it was my college anime club's "field trip"] but one of them was his friend)
hahaha I was freakin' out in my head when I saw him walk into the room xD
Then I added him on facebook... LOL yeahhhh
and he started talking to me hahahah i'm overjoyed lol"

A few months later we met at a clubbing fundraiser for some other mutual friends.
After that we started talking, texting, and hanging out with our mutual friends more often.
He's actually best friends with some of my best friends from university and it's amazing that it took us over 3 years to meet each other."
