How do you feel when your ex downgrades?

I don't believe anything that you just wrote...but at the same time people need to understand that dwelling on the situation and nitpicking why soandso is a downgrade is the problem.  For mature people who are unfortunate enough to see their ex's in the streets

with someone else it should be a look and then go about your business and not let it interrupt or interfere with your life.  No matter if your ex is with an upgrade or a downgrade it should be inconsequential to you.  BUT people with eyes can clearly see a downgrade when looking at someone...to yourself in your own mind you should always consider yourself second to none while trying to maintain some form of humbleness.  This alone can save yourself from wasting time dwelling on relationships that didn't fall through and many other obstacles you face in life.

I'm not trying to mess up your thread, but I hope you get my point. For the most everyone thinks the next man/woman after them is a "downgrade".

It's pretty obvious in most cases, if you haven't ever even stepped in a gym and your ex starts dating someone that looks like he should be modeling for Calvin Klein then she obviously hasn't downgraded and she's doing much better without you.

The real question is what constitutes a downgrade versus an upgrade. Looks, personality, ambition, money what? There is no such thing as a upgrade or a down grade. People have relationships for experience and most of the time you just grow apart. You guys hit a crossroads she went left you went right. On her path she met someone who met the current qualities she wants. It doesn't mean he's better than you or worse. *%%% worrying about her situation and do you! Take being single as a time to better yourself and enjoy yourself. I actually think it's sad when people are in long relationships and they get right into another one. Give yourself some time to reflect and have fun. You basically just transfered from Attica to San Quentin, one prison to the next.

. She ended up with some boy-band, baby hair with a pony tail, brightskinned, new boys looking cat... then I loved it. Cuz I'm like, "She did BAD after me

". Truth be told though, I feel I let her go before I gave a her a fair chance to mature. So either way it went, I was gon feel some kinda way about another #%@$! picking up on all the work I put in
