How do you store your sneakers?

My grandma came over and open the close door so my sneakers were exposed directly to sun light for like a week. Will my sneakers be ******? Need some advices nt experts!

Were they in boxes? I advise u start wearing them a little more so they break in. Either way that sucks and will affect your sneakers

I wrap them in seramwrap then I vacuum seal them in a plastic bag then i put 45 silica packs then i put it in my air sealed bullet proof fire proof waterproof safe in the foundation of my house

bro they are shoes, they might be lighter color but shouldnt affect much unless they got hot then you might get seperation depending on the shoe/materials used to make them, otherwise you are good dont fret!

I leave it on my shelf . I wear them anyway. But my ds or limited shoes i kept it on its original box and put it in my closet.

Iive been keeping my jordans in box with paper taken out asap and its been working well, however I was wondering if placing a black trash bag as a liner would do anything? Got the idea from the 4s 5s and OG 12s had a similar black plastic liner that came with the shoe. anyone do this? I'm worried it will affect breathability? Any advice would be helpful.

whats the average a shoe can be kept DS before wearing them without damaging? I usually like waiting 3-4yrs minimum but whats the longest?

hey guys, this is how I organized my sneakers. I made the shelving look nice but lose a lot of space. I might tear it down and come up with an alternative to fit more pairs, any suggestions guys?

most of them are in the original boxes/packaging. im also wondering how far do the shoes have to be from a heater? My landlord is cheap so he doesn't really turn the heat on that much and doesn't put it too strong. I want my shoes to be good as long as possible(I know they cant last forever, that's y I have a bunch of them :lol

Any suggestions on good shelving I can buy to fit more pairs in that space?

Do you keep the paper in the boxes too?

Usually no, but I have for some of the recent ones I haven't worn yet or if the paper is unique and cool

Been keeping mine in plastic bins for years.. I wear all mine tho and clean them after wear so the bins are just my habit.. THey get expensive tho so if u have a better method, let me know

Those of you saying you keep them in plastic bins or in their boxes, after each wear do you guys give the bottom sole a good wipe down before you throw them back in or not? Considering I wear all my kicks, i find it a hassle to be wiping down the soles all the time soI throw them in the box without cleaning unless its something major. Other times I just leave the shoes I know i'll be wearing in my rotaton just laying around out around. I feel like throwing them back in their storage boxes is weird without some good cleaning cause you know you probably are storing them awway for a while?

Everything has already been generally discussed, but I keep my kicks in a cool closet with 'Damprid' on the floor to combat mold and moisture. I also place my sneakers in large ziplock bags with holes punched throughout the bag to allow some air in; I keep about 2-4 silica packs in the bag as well. But be careful because the silica packs can dry out some of the material.

Unless the floor was really dirty or something I just put the shoes back in the box.

For people using the plastic bins, do you guys store the OG boxes somewhere? I feel like im just doubling the space for my collection if i have to store my boxes somewhere and the plastic bins.. but if you throw away the boxes that would make sense. I would probably buy the plastic bins for the shoes that i don't have the OG boxes.. It does look neat.
