How OD are walmart locations around your way?

I just have to laugh at this fact. A new walmart near my house is in the works, only 2 miles between TWO other walmarts on the same roads. It's justsickening. Apparently the land was zoned back in 1990 for commerical use and its technically legal for them even though itll be wedged between housingdevelopments whos residents want no part of this.

Who honestly can't drive 2 miles in either direction? Walmart is so thristy. what's it like around your way?

walmarts are dirty! i walked in once and there was a poo log the size of stapler sitting in the middle of the floor (where the water would drain out in case offlood)

but yeah...my walmart is next to the "apartments" but not that close to each other.

No Wal Marts near me, hardly any in Los Angeles. I know there is one in Pico Rivera, La Puente and Norwalk. That is about a 20-30 minute drive withouttraffic from where I live.

I've been to a couple, nothing special IMO, I prefer Target.

Two wal-marts within 5 miles I'd say. However, one is a supercenter(Takes up an entire strip by itself of the shopping center it's in) and the other isjust a normal wal-mart. PS: There's 9 walmarts on my street I believe. FM 1960 in houston..it's like a 26 mile stretch I think. And then it turns into highway 6..which has afew more..

I don't think there's a Walmart in my city. I know there's on in the area but I think it's technically in San Leandro. The Bay Area has done agood job keeping Walmart out so there's not really a lot of them. I had no idea they were monopolizing @$%# the way they are til I watched a video on themback in a high school economics class.

i live in the bay and there are 3 cities all next to each other and they all have walmarts. its funny cause when i tell someone that im going to walmart therelike "which one the big one, small one, or that dirty as one"

i go to school in el paso and i've only ever seen 3 walmarts. matter of fact there are hardly any big "quality" super markets here, butthat's another subject in itself. i went to one it was the dirtiest walmart i had ever seen. the floors were dirty, there was stuff just thrown every whereit was disgusting. it's sad most of the people from juarez go to that walmart to shop.

back home their are walmarts everywhere, kind of like how sonic is on every corner! but my county & other suburbs they're fighting pretty hard to keepthem out.

There are a few near me. University, 57th Ave., 184th St. and they're always crowded, always. Jaye pretty much summed up the
experience tho.

I have this same complaint about CVS/Walgreens. There are both on EVERY corner where I stay, its ridiculous!
