Agreed, I follow up a week after the interview and then another week later if I don't hear anything. After a week feel free to send that email man, let them know you're still interested.
People don't follow up quick enough for jobs a lot of time, once you get out of that interview you should be trying to get those thank you emails out within 1-2 hours then follow up with hr if you don't hear that.
Hope you get it man. Good luck. It's been 5 months, and I'm still waiting to hear about scheduling my second interview.
i dont think i got it
interview went on for 50 minutes yesterday and the director said she will def get back to me... she said i will have to come in for a second interview to meet the AD.
i saw that the job listing was taken down today and it's friday, so that means they already picked their potential employees and I'm most likely not one of em...bummer...really wanted it.
thanks all
Not necessary. Job posting times don't always have correlation. They may have taken it down to stop candidates from applying since they just want to focus on the talent they have on the table.i dont think i got it

I have a job already, but this role would push me towards 6 figures and it's something that I really want to doNot necessary. Job posting times don't always have correlation. And sometimes if the company is big, this process takes a while, I.E. I want to take down job posting on x date, I fill out a form, which will be turned into HR who will give to their talent acquisition specialist sooner or later.
But yes, always applying. Never stop. You can never have enough interviews or job offers.
